Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information PrideSash collects when you use our online store, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to take and fulfill your orders.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and a small amount needed to run the store:
- Account & order details you give us — name, email, shipping and billing address, and the items you order.
- Cart contents, stored locally in your browser so your cart persists between visits.
- Sign-in session information, used to keep you logged in securely.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small set of essential browser storage that the store needs to function. These are not used for advertising or to track you across other sites:
- pridesash-cart — keeps the items in your cart.
- theme — remembers light/dark display preference.
- A secure sign-in cookie — keeps you authenticated during your session.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising or marketing pixels, or session-replay tools, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we introduce any optional analytics or marketing cookies in the future, they will load only after you opt in through our cookie consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Service providers we share with
We share information only with providers that help us operate the store, and only as needed for that purpose:
- A payment processor to securely process payments (when online payments are enabled).
- Shipping carriers to deliver your order.
- Accounting software to record sales and meet tax obligations.
[COUNSEL] Confirm the final list of sub-processors and any required data-processing terms.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
[COUNSEL] Confirm CCPA/CPRA disclosures, categories collected, retention periods, and the rights-request process.
Data retention & security
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
